WSU’s accounting head wins top award
Francis Kwahene was 26 when the department of Accounting head hunted him to join their department. Despite the negative things said about Mthatha, he did not think twice about relocating to it. He has been awarded the top tutor two consecutive years at the University of Cape Town. He was also chosen as one of the top CAs under the age of 35.
One of his most dificult task was to try convincing people who have been on the department for years to believe in his own vision that he had for the department. The years he has been wuth WSU has attracted more than 120 new students each year.
As a learner in the department, I'm proud of the things it has done for the learners amd it is clear that this department is going far after receiving accreditation.
